| On 22 May 2008, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore received S$1 million of donation funds for the people in the earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan, China. From 13 May till now, the Embassy has received S$ 8 million (about RMB40.96million), and about 23,000 person-times have come to the Embassy for donation.
