On 25 May 2008, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore received S$0.6 million of donation funds for the people in the earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan, China. From 13 May till now, the Embassy has received S$ 9.3 million (about RMB 47.61 million), and about 29,000 person-times have come to the Embassy for donation.
