The Relief Fund for the Sichuan Earthquake-stricken Areas Received by the Chinese Embassy Topped RMB 18.9 Million

     From 13 May 2008, Singaporean people and the Chinese students and workers in Singapore have moved enthusiastically to make donations of funds for the people in the earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan, China through the relief account opened by the Chinese Embassy and on-spot donation in the Embassy. Up to 18 May, the Embassy has received S$ 3.7 million (about RMB 18.9 million), and about 10,000 person-times have come to the Embassy for donation.
