The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is donating US$80,000 worth of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) package to Chengdu, China to support the People's Liberation Army's relief efforts.

     Two full-loads of C-130 aircraft transported about 10 tonnes of HADR package, consisting of blankets, groundsheets, tents and medical supplies. The C-130s left Paya Lebar Air Base this morning at 0900 hours and are expected to arrive in China at 1600 hours.
