China and Singapore Signed A New Executive Programme Of Cultural Cooperation

On 29 December 2021, the Executive Programme For The Years 2022 To 2024 Of The Memorandum Of Understanding Of Cultural Cooperation (short for “EP”) was signed by Minister for Culture and Tourism of China Hu Heping and Minister for Culture, Community and Youth of Singapore Edwin Tong. The EP is a framework document aiming to promote all-round exchanges and cooperation between China and Singapore in the fields of culture and tourism, including projects such as culture and arts, tourism, libraries, heritage and museums. The new EP is one of the outcomes of the 17th China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation and Related Joint Steering Council Meeting (JCBC). 

Over the past 30 years, there have been close cultural exchanges between the two countries with fruitful achievements. The signing and implementation of the new EP will further promote the mutual learning in the field of culture, help the two peoples know each other better, and contribute to the bilateral friendship .
